From Tawau
In Tawau, you’re just a one hour drive away from Semporna. You can book a minivan from the airport to Semporna for approximately RM40. Note that you’ll actually need two mini-vans: one to deliver you from the airport to the city center, and a second mini-van to take out to Semporna. Cabs are available as well, though prices are quite a bit higher.
However, your best option is to let us know you’re coming ahead of time and we can send our private shuttle to pick you up. Not only can we pick you up from the airport and take you directly to Semporna, but you can split the shuttle costs with multiple passengers (our shuttle operates pretty much daily). Send us an email, give us a call, or use our booking form to let us know you’re coming and you’ll be greeted by a friendly blue van with a big Scuba Junkie logo on it when you step out of the airport.

You can either fly or catch a bus from Kota Kinabalu. Air Asia and Malaysian Airlines offers multiple flights daily to Tawau, where you’re just a 1 hour drive away from Semporna (see [getting to Semporna from Tawau] (#semporna-tawau)).
