Coming Diving? Here's How To Get Here

Scuba Junkie is located in Semporna, which is on the east coast of Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. Semporna has links to both major international and national transport hubs, so whether you're on a two-week holiday from overseas or coming by bus on a year-long backpacking trip, we've got you covered.

Kota Kinabalu		Air Asia and Malaysian Airlines offer daily flights from KK to Tawau and are probably your cheapest options for flying. Buses leave daily from KK directly to Semporna at 7:30 am and 7:30pm. Bus rides take about 8 hours and flights are about 45 minutes.
Kuala Lumpur		You can now fly directly from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau on Air Asia. Alternately, you can take a flight to KK and connect to either Tawau or Semporna from there (see above).
Sandakan		Buses coming from Kota Kinabalu stop in Sandakan daily and can drop you right in Semporna.

In addition to our dive shop, Scuba Junkie offers a clean, comfortable, and affordable backpacker. If you are diving with us, prices start at just 15RM for a dorm room, 40RM for a standard room, and 50RM for an room complete with your own private bathroom. All rooms include hot-water showers, satellite TV, free movies, free internet access (including wireless), and a complimentary english breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, beans, toast, juice, coffee, and more.

As an added bonus, we also have a pub that opens every evening. This is a popular place for divers to hang out and discuss the day's diving over a few cold beers and some hot pizza made in our own oven. Hope to see you there!
